These are truffles that I only make for Valentine’s Day, with the exception of our first every chocolate party, and then only! This year was my best year making them, since I was more experienced than ever before! ^_^ I was glad that they turned out so well. I give them to my friends, and everyone looks forward to receiving them! They tell me that they’re really really good, and this year, I gave them to my boyfriend, Sang-June, and the next day, he told me his mom wanted the recipe! Apparently, people are most impressed. ^_^ I have posted about them here before, in my Valentine articles. Look there for the recipe!

So, a while back, I made this chocolate cake and covered it with mint icing, both made with recipes from allrecipes.com, which I love. The cake probably should have cooled a little longer before I spread the icing, and it could have been cut better for the layers to sit on top of each other better, too. It turned out being pretty delicious, but next time, I might find a recipe that has the mint and chocolate inside the cake rather than chocolate cake and mint icing. Just my personal tastes there.
You can see the seeds of the berries in the chocolate… ^_^; Our attempt at artful plating! Admire it!
These are the last of my lunches for now, I believe. However, rather than ending posts, I will be bringing photos of desserts of the past! I’ve made a bunch of cakes, chocolates, and various desserts in the past and taken pictures, so I’ll be talking about those. I hope you’ll stick with me!
I tried making tamagoyaki for the second time, and it improved SOOO much! I was so impressed with myself!
Attempt number 2 was such a big step up! It looks beautiful this time.
